Cancellation Policy for Authoh authentication and user management services
Overview
This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellation of authentication and user management services provided by Authoh.
Cancellation Period
- Monthly Subscriptions: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
- Annual Subscriptions: You may cancel your annual subscription at any time. Please refer to our Refund Policy for information on potential prorated refunds for the unused portion of your service.
- Enterprise Agreements: Cancellation terms for enterprise agreements are specified in your service contract.
Cancellation Methods
You can cancel your subscription through any of the following methods:
Dashboard Cancellation
- Log in to your Authoh account dashboard
- Navigate to the "Subscription" or "Billing" section
- Click on "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation process
Your subscription will be canceled at the end of your current billing cycle, and you will receive an email confirmation.
Email Cancellation
- Send a cancellation request to support@authoh.com
- Include your account information and reason for cancellation (optional)
- Our team will process your request within 2 business days
- You will receive an email confirmation once your cancellation has been processed
Effects of Cancellation
- Service Access: You will continue to have access to your Authoh services until the end of your current billing period.
- Data Retention: After cancellation, your account data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted. During this period, you may request a copy of your data.
- Authentication Services: End-user authentication through your canceled service will cease at the end of your billing period. Please ensure you have migrated to an alternative solution before this happens to avoid disruption to your users.
Downgrading Instead of Canceling
If you're considering cancellation due to cost or feature needs, we offer the option to downgrade your subscription to a more suitable plan. You can:
- Log in to your Authoh dashboard
- Navigate to the "Subscription" section
- Select "Change Plan" to view available options
Reactivation
If you decide to reactivate your account after cancellation but before your data is deleted (within 30 days), you can do so by:
- Logging into your account
- Following the reactivation prompts
- Selecting a new subscription plan
Community Edition Users
For users of our self-hosted Community Edition:
- No cancellation is required as there is no subscription
- Support for the Community Edition is provided on a best-effort basis through our community forums
- When upgrading from Community Edition to a paid plan, no cancellation period applies to your Community Edition usage
